A bold exploration into the depths of bourbon tradition, Batch #8 is a testament to patience, legacy, and fire-forged craft.
Distilled in antique Cognac pot stills and created alongside his son, Master Distiller Crispin Cain oversaw every moment of its journey-from fermentation to its final 8-year rest in air-dried, #3 char American oak barrels.
The mash bill - 65% Corn, 20% Barley Malt, 15% Rye Malt-delivers layers of toasted grains, toffee, and burnt orange. A small addition of rainwater softened its strength before slumbering undisturbed for nearly a decade. Beneath the surface lies complexity: caramel and walnut on the palate, brown sugar and apricot on the nose, and a finish kissed with maple butter and banking spice.
This limited release is a reverent nod to the shared stories and quiet strength found at The Captain's Table - a place beyond time, where legends are poured, and the mission of exploration is never far behind.
